"Now, before the murders The Manson Family used to break into people's houses -- they did what was called 'creepy-crawling', in which they would break in and and rearrange the furniture or flip the painting upside down, or sometimes just petty sort of thievery, just you know, stealing wallets and jewellery, and one of the houses that they did this to was this one right here it belonged to a singer named Jack Jones, who is most famous for singing The Love Boat theme song --
Well, I started researching this stuff I got in touch with Jack Jones and I sent him an email and I said 'Well, are you indeed the Jack Jones that whose house got creepy-crawled called by The Manson Family?' he replied yes he was and I asked him again, what happened exactly? How did he know it was going to be the Manson Family that did it?'
I never got a response a few months later I get an email from a woman who says to me her father was sort of a celebrity in the 60s with singer and that their house got creepy-crawled and Tex stole her father's cowboy hat -- so I said 'Well are you Jack Jones daughter?' and she confirmed that she was and so I got my answer -- what exactly happened, the cops came but there was no signs of a robbery so they took the report and left Jack Jones spent the night and left the next day for his gig it wasn't until years later that he found out that they were outside watching him the whole time and that they were scared off by the police visits --

Michelle Phillips claims in her book that at one point John Phillips, her husband, found six people dressed in black by his Rolls-Royce one night and when he found them, he yelled at them and they tiptoed away like penguins -- "
