Wow. Chris Hune's wife is kind of a bitch...


Standing trial together with her estranged husband for a crime she admits actual guilt for, yet not criminal guilt, her brief is advancing the little l known, archly sexist and archaic Marital coercion defence.







The defence contained in section 47 of the Criminal Justice Act 1925:[1]
Any presumption of law that an offence committed by a wife in the presence of her husband is committed under the coercion of the husband is hereby abolished, but on a charge against a wife for any offence other than treason or murder it shall be a good defence to prove that the offence was committed in the presence of, and under the coercion of, the husband.


Hell hath no fury like a scorned woman carrying someone else's penalty points.

If she gets off, that's one more blow to solidarity and sisterhood globally. Just another nail in the coffin of post-feminism.
