The Plot to Kill Jimmy Carter

"Jimmy Carter is an innocent"

- Former Vice President Walter Mondale,
in conversation with Seymour Hersch, 2009

By Jim Marrs

"Toward mid-1979, President Carter was being chastised by critics within the media, as well as by the Republicans, as being wishy-washy on a variety of issues. They said his was a mediocre presidency. The mass media were already focusing on conservative California Gov. Ronald Reagan as the man of the hour. His nomination as GOP presidential candidate for the 1980 election seemed assured.

Carter asked for and was granted a national television spot during prime time and many media pundits predicted that he was about to announce sweeping changes in government as well as new initiatives which would move his upcoming presidential re-election campaign off high center.

But before his televised appearance, Carter journeyed to California where he was to address a Hispanic crowd in Los Angeles.s Civic Center Mall celebrating Cinco de Mayo, the Mexican Independence Day.

A few days later, a handful of newspapers carried a small story stating that a "grubby transient" had been arrested there and was being held on suspicion of the attempted assassination of the president. A Secret Service spokesman downplayed the arrest stating the incident was about as "nothing as these things get."

However, a few days later, another news item appeared which reported that the 35-year-old Anglo suspect was being held in lieu of $50,000 on charges of conspiring to kill the president.

Finally, a one-time story in the May 21, 1979, edition of Newsweek revealed more details of the incident.

It seems that the suspect was arrested after Secret Service agents noticed him "looking nervous." A .22-calibre, eight-shot revolver was found on the man along with 70 rounds of blank ammunition. A short time later, the suspect implicated a second man, a 21-year-old Hispanic who also was taken into custody and subsequently held in lieu of $100,000 bail.

The second suspect at first denied knowing the other man, but finally admitted that the pair had test fired the blank starter pistol from a nearby hotel roof the night before Carter.s appearance. Both men said they were simply local street people who had been hired by two Mexican hit men. They were to create a diversion with the blank pistol and the two hit men were to assassinate President Carter with high-powered rifles.

Lending credence to their story, both suspects led authorities to the shabby Alan Hotel located near the civic center. Here investigators found an empty rifle case and three rounds of live ammunition in a room rented under than name Umberto Camacho. Camacho apparently had checked out the day of Carter.s visit. No further trace of the hit men could be found.

The Anglo suspect was Raymond Lee Harvey and his Hispanic companion was Osvaldo Ortiz. This oddity of their names prompted Newsweek reporters to state, "References to Lee Harvey Oswald and the assassination of President John F. Kennedy were unavoidable."

"But it was still far from clear whether the authorities had a real conspiracy or a wild goose chase on their hands," they added.

No further news stories appeared and the disposition of the case against Lee Harvey and Osvaldo apparently has never been made public.

What did happen was that President Carter canceled his national TV speech and went into seclusion at Camp David, MD.

After seeking advice from a lengthy line of consultants, including the Rev. Billy Graham, Carter was reported to have said,
"I have lost control of the government."

Skid Row Plot A scheme to kill Carter?

The man clearly was unstrung. He had a history of mental illness. He also bore an eerily resonant name for a person claiming to be part of a four-man plot to assassinate a President: Raymond Lee Harvey. At first, it all seemed too weird to be taken seriously.

Unemployed and a drifter, the Ohio-born Harvey, 35, claimed to have met three men with Latin names in downtown Los Angeles two weeks ago. On May 4 he was with the three in a third-floor room of the skid row...

At first it seemed just a bum’s boozy fantasy. When a grubby transient named Raymond Lee Harvey was arrested 50 feet away from Jimmy Carter at a Los Angeles rally two weekends ago, he claimed to be part of a four-man conspiracy to assassinate Carter. Harvey carried only a blank-firing starter’s pistol, and the Secret Service said at the time that he had “all the characteristics of a derelict.” But investigators found new evidence last week that supported Harvey’s story—including a shotgun case and ammunition in a nearby hotel room—and once again raised the specter of a Presidential assassination plot.

The case is as bizarre and confusing as it is potentially serious. One curious twist is the names of the principals. Raymond Lee Harvey, who was held on $50,000 bail last week on a charge of conspiring to kill the President, and Oswaldo Espinoza Ortiz, who was held on $100,000 bail as a material witness. References to Lee Harvey Oswald and the assassination of John F. Kennedy were unavoidable. Officials have also indicated that Harvey has a history of mental illness. Both Harvey and Espinoza now claim that Harvey was supposed to create a diversion by firing his starter’s pistol while two other men attempted to shoot Carter. But investigators say they have no clues to the whereabouts of the alleged accomplices and are not even certain of their identities. Accordingly, the authorities have been careful to stress their doubts about the case.

The mystery began when Harvey, 35, was arrested at the downtown Los Angeles Civic Center Mall just ten minutes before Carter was to speak at a Cinco de Mayo Mexican festival. Secret Service agents said they spotted him in the crowd “looking nervous,” searched him and found the 22-caliber, eight-shot revolver and 70 unspent blank cartridges. Espinoza, 21, who had been standing nearby, was taken into custody shortly afterward. According to government affidavits, Espinoza initially denied knowing Harvey but later corroborated his story that the two of them had gone to the roof of the shabby Alan Hotel near the Civic Center and test-fired the starter’s pistol on the night before Carter’s appearance. The plot, they said, was hatched along with two other men, both Mexican, who had rifles and were living in the hotel.

Checking out the story, police found an empty shotgun case and three rounds of live ammunition in a room that had been rented by a man named Umberto Camacho—who had checked out on the day of Carter’s visit.

TAKING IT SERIOUSLY: Assistant U.S. Attorney Donald Etra was expected to make a decision on the case this week. “Unless it’s clear that the defendant has committed the crime with which he is charged, we’re not going to present the case to a grand jury,” he said. The FBI, meanwhile, continued its investigation—trying to find Camacho and the unnamed fourth alleged conspirator.

“Any time there’s a threat against a President or a possible (plot) against the President, we’re going to take it seriously,” (said) FBI spokesman (Sam) Shed. But it was still far from clear whether the authorities had a real conspiracy or a wild goose chase on their hands.

RUPERT MURDOCH'S FOX NEWS RAN 'BLACK OPS' DEPARTMENT, FORMER EXECUTIVE CLAIMS

RUPERT MURDOCH’S FOX NEWS TELEVISION CHANNEL HAD A “BLACK OPS” DEPARTMENT THAT MAY HAVE ILLEGALLY HACKED PRIVATE TELEPHONE RECORDS, A FORMER EXECUTIVE FOR THE STATION HAS ALLEGED.

Daily Telegraph
By Jon Swaine, New York 11:07PM BST 20 Jul 2011

Dan Cooper, who helped launch Fox News as managing editor in 1996, said that a “brain room” carried out “counter intelligence” on the channel’s enemies from its New York headquarters.

He was threatened after it found out he spoke to a reporter, he claimed.

Another former senior executive said the channel ran a spying network on staff, reading their emails and making them “feel they were being watched”.

The channel, which has come under pressure amid allegations that outlets owned by Mr Murdoch might have attempted to hack the voicemail messages of September 11 victims, firmly denies all the allegations.

Mr Cooper, who left Fox News soon after its launch, provided a quote for a 1997 article about Roger Ailes, Fox News’s president, by the journalist David Brock in New York magazine.

The quote was not going to be attributed to him, but he alleges that before the article was published, Mr Cooper’s agent received a telephone call from Mr Ailes threatening to withdraw Fox’s business from all his clients.

“There are only two possible ways Ailes found out,” Mr Cooper said. “Either Brock told him or they got hold of Brock’s phone records and saw I spoke to him.”

He first alleged that the records were obtained by researchers in the “brain room” in 2005 in an article on his website about the launch of the channel.

“Most people thought it was simply the research department of Fox News,” he wrote. “I knew it also housed a counter intelligence and black ops office. So accessing phone records was easy pie.”

Mr Cooper said yesterday that he helped to design the high-security unit. “It was staffed by 15 researchers and had a guard at the door. No one working there would engage in conversation.”

Mr Cooper said he was “willing to consider the possibility” that Mr Brock named him, but added: “I assume he operates under journalistic ethics and protected a confidential source. Brock told me at the time that Ailes told him he would never work again if he wrote the article.”

Mr Brock now runs Media Matters, a Left-leaning American media watchdog. A spokesman for the group said: “He declines to comment.”

Another former Fox News senior executive, who did not wish to be named, said staff were forced to operate under conditions reminiscent of “Russia at the height of the Soviet era”.

“There is a paranoid atmosphere and they feel they are being watched,” said the former executive. “I have no doubt they are spying on emails to ensure no one is leaking to outside media.

“There is a unit of spies that reports up to the boss about who was talking to whom. A lot of people are scared that they’re going to get sidelined or even that they’re going to get killed.”

A Fox News spokesman said: “Each of these allegations is completely false. Dan Cooper was terminated six weeks after the launch of the Fox News Channel in 1996 and has peddled these lies for the past 15 years.”

The FBI is investigating allegations that journalists on a British newspaper may have tried to have September 11 victims’ phones hacked. Both former Fox News executives said they thought Mr Ailes would never have let his reporters do likewise.

The Assassination of President Gerald R. Ford

"With a Rockefeller then one heartbeat away from the Oval Office, President Ford in 1975 survived three genuine assassination attempts."

"In his book [Go Quietly... Or Else.], Agnew says that Al Haig came to him one day and said -
'If you don't leave - I will kill you'"

Section 1. In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President.

Section 2. Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

The name Rockefeller does not sit well with the American public. Some have heard how the Rockefellers, like others of the great American fortunes, piled up their loot. And it was not by merit or humanitarian ideas.

Taking over as President after JFK was the victim of a public execution in 1963, was Lyndon B. Johnson who had been Vice President.

[Some contend the Kennedys reluctantly put him on the Democrat ticket at the 1960 convention, after Johnson threatened to publicly finger the Kennedy Family and their Nazi links.]

BUT, there was a defect in the U.S. Constitution. There was no provision to fill the Vice President slot vacancy except by future election. So, up to the 1964 Presidential Election, Johnson served WITHOUT a Vice President.

Scheming, on their own time-table, to put the Big Oil cabal into the White House, the Rockefeller Family championed and arranged to have enacted in 1967, the U.S. Constitution's 25th Amendment, providing by appointment for the line of succession as to the Vice Presidency.

The Rockefellers understood full well that to grab the Oval Office they first have to capture the office of Vice President as a backdoor. President Nixon's Vice President Spiro Agnew was the target. I had the distinction of uncovering the plot against Agnew six months before the oil-soaked, spy-riddled monopoly press was ready to reveal it. Censored by his bosses, a network reporter, knowing my long record of never, never revealing witnesses and sources, put it in my ear.

[In our work over the last 40 years I have been jailed some eight times for "contempt of court" for refusing to reveal our methods of investigation, our witnesses, and our sources.]

At the time in 1973, the Watergate Affair was bubbling and boiling. I was traveling across the country, giving seminars for and speeches to, college students. I spelled out the plot starting with the expected removal of Vice President Agnew. Some students, supposedly "educated", nonetheless stupid and having no horse sense, viciously heckled me. "Mr. Skolnick, you made up the story. I read the New York Times every day. There was no such story about the Agnew bribery scandal. I think you are just a damned liar. Who invited you to this college anyway?" College newspaper editors and such had similar things to say.
No one apologized to me, nor did my ego require apologies, when the story broke, on the press whores own agenda, in October, 1973. A prosecutor in Baltimore was about to indict Vice President Spiro Agnew for bribery going back to the time Agnew was Maryland Governor. So Agnew resigned.

No end of confusion was caused by the federal prosecutor being named SKOLNIK. Not everyone noticed he spelled his name different than me and was obviously not a relative. Appointed for a while as Special Assistant to that prosecutor was Chicago U.S. District Attorney James Thompson. I saw the point right away when I bumped into Big Jim at O'Hare Airport, as he was on the way to Baltimore. I had known early on that Thompson was a stooge for Nelson Rockefeller who financed Thompson's career and later, Thompson's successful run for Illinois Governor in 1976.

Promised financial favors from the Rockefellers if he is forced to resign, Nixon appointed, under the Rockefeller-promoted 25th Amendment, Gerald Ford to be the new Vice President, without an election. Having sat on the infamous Warren Commission, and on behalf of the aristocracy proclaiming a "lone assassin" murdered JFK, Gerald Ford was clearly eligible for the high office.

In August, 1974, forced to resign by the Rockefeller-dominated U.S. Supreme Court ruling as to the Nixon tapes case, Nixon was automatically replaced by Ford, all without an election.

[The Rockefellers rewarded Tricky Dick for going quietly. They made available to him a residence in Manhattan, a townhouse, wall to wall with David Rockefeller.]

By these musical chairs, President Ford appointed Nelson A. Rockefeller as the Vice President. Again, all this without an election. Who paid close attention to Nelson Rockefeller during his U.S. Senate confirmation hearings? Under oath, he testified that he and the Rockefeller Family principal members, had NOT paid any INCOME TAXES for the previous eleven years.

[Please note: There WAS not Arab Oil embargo - The Shah of Iran, as a Persian, was not an Arab, nor were any of his countrymen.]

The Saudis attempted unilaterally bring the oil prices back down in the absence of instructions from Washington.

On March 19, 1975, Secretary Kissinger met with King Faisal to review the Middle East peace process and bilateral relations.

On 25 March 1975, King Faisal was shot point-blank and killed by his half-brother’s son, Faisal bin Musaid, who had just come back from the United States.

Prince Faisal, who was captured directly after the attack, was officially declared insane. But following the trial, a panel of Saudi medical experts decided that Faisal was sane when he gunned the king down.
The nation's high religious court convicted him of regicide and sentenced him to execution. Despite Faisal’s dying request that the life of his assassin be spared, he was beheaded in the public square in Riyadh.

The public execution took place on 18 June 1975 at 4:30 pm—three hours before sundown—before a throng of thousands at the Al Hukm Palace (Palace of Justice).

The Power of Nightmares - The Phantom Victory

At the end of 1992, Bill Clinton won a dramatic victory.

But the NeoConservatives were determined to regain power.

And to do this, they were going to do to Bill Clinton what they had done to the Soviet Union.

They would transform The President of the United States into a fantasy Enemy -

an image of evil that would make people realise the truth of the Liberal corruption of America...

"Mentioning the name of Clinton provokes disgust and revulsion; the President has a heart that knows no words.

A heart that kills hundreds of children, definitely knows no words.

Our people in Arabia will send us messages with our words, because he does not understand words.

MOCKINGBIRD: How to Cry On Cue

9/11 / MOCKINGBIRD : The "Jumpers" from Spike1138 on Vimeo.
He saw loads of people heave-ho themselves out of the WTC windows (which DO NOT OPEN), but didn't capture a single one on camera, despite filming the entire event. He just caught "people" falling and waving.

He also didn't film anyone LANDING; this area of the plaza was obscured from view.

Probably a good thing - he would have filmed them bouncing.

I see redness, and much rubbing of the eyes, but not one tear.

But he's really trying with that "Blue, blue coat" schtick.

Seriously...?

September 11th 2001 was a gloriously warm and sunny day in New York City, at least prior to the Dust Winter;

This woman is wearing a coat - whilst hurling herself out of a burning building.

How to Cry on Cue

1
Hold your eyelids open with your fingers. We blink to remoisturize our eyeballs. By simply holding your eyelids open and causing your eyes to dry, your tear ducts will moisten and form tears as they try to perform the natural process of moisturizing your eyes. Once the tears begin, blink a few times, and the tears should begin to fall effortlessly down your cheeks.

2
Squirt eye drops into your eyes. This is an old Hollywood trick. If tears aren't naturally flowing, then simply add some. Right before the director yells "Action!" have the makeup artist squirt a few "tears" into your eyes. Then as the scene unfolds, let them fall down your face.

3
Blow out of the corners of your mouth up toward your eyeballs. This will help you cry on cue because you are essentially drying the eyeball and causing the tear ducts to begin their natural process. Also, during this process do not blink.

4
Enact a bit of sense-memory. This is the most honest way to cry on cue. There are no tricks here, since you must genuinely feel the emotion that brings forward the tears. Think of an awful time or awful event in your life that will bring you to a sad emotional state. Then let the tears flow. Death, sickness, pain--any of these can help you bring on that emotional state to get the tears dropping.

Tips & Warnings
Save it for the close-up. Many actors get so worked up during the master or wide shots that they save nothing for the tight shots. They are "dry" on their close-ups. To avoid this, save the tears for when they count.

Try not to cry. It is always more compelling to watch a performance where a person is acting in spite of their tears, not because of them.

The Second Bill of Rights: Affordable Healthcare

"Necessitous men are not free men."

People who are hungry and out of a job are the stuff of which dictatorships are made.

In our day these economic truths have become accepted as self-evident. We have accepted, so to speak,a second Bill of Rights under which a new basis of security and prosperity can be established for all regardless of station, race, or creed.

Among these are:

  • The right to a useful and remunerative job in the industries or shops or farms or mines of the Nation;

  • The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation;

  • The right of every farmer to raise and sell his products at a return which will give him and his family a decent living;

  • The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home or abroad;

  • The right of every family to a decent home;

Spot the Leg-Braces.

  • The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health;

  • The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment;

  • The right to a good education. All of these rights spell security. And after this war is won we must be prepared to move forward, in the implementation of these rights, to new goals of human happiness and well-being.

America's own rightful place in the world depends in large part upon how fully these and similar rights have been carried into practice for our citizens. For unless there is security here at home there cannot be lasting peace in the world."

"I hope that you will pardon me for this unusual posture of sitting down during the presentation of what I want to say, but I know that you will realize that it makes it a lot easier for me not to have to carry about ten pounds of steel around on the bottom of my legs; and also because of the fact that I have just completed a fourteen-thousand-mile trip. *

First of all, I want to say, it is good to be home.

It has been a long journey. I hope you will also agree that it has been, so far, a fruitful one.

Speaking in all frankness, the question of whether it is entirely fruitful or not lies to a great extent in your hands. For unless you here in the halls of the American Congress- with the support of the American people—concur in the general conclusions reached at Yalta, and give them your active support, the meeting will not have produced lasting results.

That is why I have come before you at the earliest hour I could after my return. I want to make a personal report to you—and, at the same time, to the people of the country. Many months of earnest work are ahead of us all, and I should like to feel that when the last stone is laid on the structure of international peace, it will be an achievement for which all of us in America have worked steadfastly and unselfishly—together.

I am returning from this trip—that took me so far—refreshed and inspired. I was well the entire time. I was not ill for a second, until I arrived back in Washington, and there I heard all of the rumors which had occurred in my absence. I returned from the trip refreshed and inspired. The Roosevelts are not, as you may suspect, averse to travel. We seem to thrive on it!

Far away as I was, I was kept constantly informed of affairs in the United States. The modern miracles of rapid communication have made this world very small. We must always bear in mind that fact, when we speak or think of international relations. I received a steady stream of messages from Washington—I might say from not only the executive branch with all its departments, but also from the legislative branch—and except where radio silence was necessary for security purposes, I could continuously send messages any place in the world. And of course, in a grave emergency, we could have even risked the breaking of the security rule.

I come from the Crimea Conference with a firm belief that we have made a good start on the road to a world of peace.

There were two main purposes in this Crimea Conference. The first was to bring defeat to Germany with the greatest possible speed, and the smallest possible loss of Allied men. That purpose is now being carried out in great force. The German Army, and the German people, are feeling the ever-increasing might of our fighting men and of the Allied armies. Every hour gives us added pride in the heroic advance of our troops in Germany—on German soil—toward a meeting with the gallant Red Army.

The second purpose was to continue to build the foundation for an international accord that would bring order and security after the chaos of the war, that would give some assurance of lasting peace among the Nations of the world.

Toward that goal also, a tremendous stride was made.

At Teheran, a little over a year ago, there were long-range military plans laid by the Chiefs of Staff of the three most powerful Nations. Among the civilian leaders at Teheran, however, at that time, there were only exchanges of views and expressions of opinion. No political arrangements were made—and none was attempted.

At the Crimea Conference, however, the time had come for getting down to specific cases in the political field.

There was on all sides at this Conference an enthusiastic effort to reach an agreement. Since the time of Teheran, a year ago, there had developed among all of us a—what shall I call it?—a greater facility in negotiating with each other, that augurs well for the peace of the world. We know each other better.

I have never for an instant wavered in my belief that an agreement to insure world peace and security can be reached.

There were a number of things that we did that were concrete—that were definite. For instance, the lapse of time between Teheran and Yalta without conferences of civilian representatives of the three major powers has proved to be too long-fourteen months. During that long period, local problems were permitted to become acute in places like Poland and Greece and Italy and Yugoslavia.

Therefore, we decided at Yalta that, even if circumstances made it impossible for the heads of the three Governments to meet more often in the future, we would make sure that there would be more frequent personal contacts for the exchange of views, between the Secretaries of State and the Foreign Ministers of these three powers.

We arranged for periodic meetings at intervals of three or four months. I feel very confident that under this arrangement there will be no recurrences of the incidents which this winter disturbed the friends of world-wide cooperation and collaboration.

When we met at Yalta, in addition to laying our strategic and tactical plans for the complete and final military victory over Germany, there were other problems of vital political consequence.

For instance, first, there were the problems of the occupation and control of Germany—after victory—the complete destruction of her military power, and the assurance that neither the Nazis nor Prussian militarism could again be revived to threaten the peace and the civilization of the world.

Second—again for example—there was the settlement of the few differences that remained among us with respect to the International Security Organization after the Dumbarton Oaks Conference. As you remember, at that time, I said that we had agreed ninety percent. Well, that's a pretty good percentage. I think the other ten percent was ironed out at Yalta.

Third, there were the general political and economic problems common to all of the areas which had been or would be liberated from the Nazi yoke. This is a very special problem. We over here find it difficult to understand the ramifications of many of these problems in foreign lands, but we are trying to.

Fourth, there were the special problems created by a few instances such as Poland and Yugoslavia.

Days were spent in discussing these momentous matters and we argued freely and frankly across the table. But at the end, on every point, unanimous agreement was reached. And more important even than the agreement of words, I may say we achieved a unity of thought and a way of getting along together.

Of course, we know that it was Hitler's hope—and the German war lords'—that we would not agree—that some slight crack might appear in the solid wall of Allied unity, a crack that would give him and his fellow gangsters one last hope of escaping their just doom. That is the objective for which his propaganda ma- chine has been working for many months.

But Hitler has failed.

Never before have the major Allies been more closely united—not only in their war aims but also in their peace aims. And they are determined to continue to be united with each other-and with all peace-loving Nations—so that the ideal of lasting peace will become a reality.

The Soviet, British, and United States Chiefs of Staff held daily meetings with each other. They conferred frequently with Marshal Stalin, and with Prime Minister Churchill and with me, on the problem of coordinating the strategic and tactical efforts of the Allied powers. They completed their plans for the final knock-out blows to Germany.

At the time of the Teheran Conference, the Russian front was removed so far from the American and British fronts that, while certain long-range strategic cooperation was possible, there could be no tactical, day-by-day coordination. They were too far apart. But Russian troops have now crossed Poland. They are fighting on the Eastern soil of Germany herself; British and American troops are now on German soil close to the Rhine River in the West. It is a different situation today from what it was fourteen months ago; a closer tactical liaison has become possible for the first time in Europe—and, in the Crimea Conference, that was something else that was accomplished."

* - N.B. :- Revisionists and enemies of Roosevelt (who wrote the history) use this incident in support of their Public Myth of the natural character of FDR's death, less than six weeks later.

Of this incident and this period in general, The Enemy has this to say:

"At Yalta, Lord Moran, Winston Churchill's physician, commenting on Roosevelt's ill health, said that he was a dying man.

When Roosevelt returned to the United States, he addressed Congress on March 1 about the Yalta Conference, and many were shocked to see how old, thin and frail he looked. He spoke while seated in the well of the House, an unprecedented concession to his physical incapacity."

Weasel words - who were these "many"...? The address was not televised, nor was it filmed for Newsreels, as far as I can tell - surely the fact that Roosevelt was a cripple (in the parlance of those times) can have come as neither a shock, nor a surprise to few members of the Congress at that time.

It goes on:

"During March 1945, he sent strongly worded messages to Stalin accusing him of breaking his Yalta commitments over Poland, Germany, prisoners of war and other issues. When Stalin accused the western Allies of plotting a separate peace with Hitler behind his back, Roosevelt replied:

"I cannot avoid a feeling of bitter resentment towards your informers, whoever they are, for such vile misrepresentations of my actions or those of my trusted subordinates."

But of course, this is exactly what Allen Dulles and his Wall Street chums at Brown Brothers Harriman, Union Banking Corps, Prescott Bush and the like were doing at that very moment, behind FDR's back, and Stalin bloody-well knew it. As he told FDR's son Elliot in Moscow:

Quickly, Stalin responded, "Don't you know who killed your father?"

Roosevelt-shocked-answered, "No."

Stalin took a few steps around the office, and almost in a rage roared, "They poisoned your father, of course, just as they have tried repeatedly to poison me."

"They, who are they," Elliot asked

"The Churchill gang!" Stalin roared, "They poisoned your father, and they continue to try to poison me…the Churchill gang!"

Franklin Roosevelt himself seems to have harboured the same apprehensions, and it's not just Lyndon LaRouche who arrived at such an anti-colonialist analysis of the Big Three power dynamics within the Troika of Winston, Joe and Franklin.

Stalin was by custom and by habit paranoid almost to the point of mania, but with undeniably good cause - in 1919, almost the entire industrialised world mobilised, even in the shadow of the Armistice to attack, invade and occupy Soviet Territory in their tens of thousands in the wake of the October Revolution, followed by a VAST injection of arms and materiel to the White Army in the Russian Civil War; Stalin betrayed everyone, and was in turn betrayed by everyone, from Trotsky to Hitler and Churchill was no different.

Roosevelt understood this. Again and again, history has shown that Russia's vast Western Front is almost nightmarishly insecure over the Eurasian steppes.

Trouble Brewing.

"No, no - don't get up."

"Why is it that my mother has never been permitted to visit Moscow even though she has made three very formal applications for the trip?"

Stalin glared at Elliott and said, "You don't know why?"

Elliott replied, "No!"

Quickly, Stalin responded, "Don't you know who killed your father?"
Roosevelt-shocked-answered, "No."
