Boston: The Iranian Connection

Washington Talk: Briefing; C.I.A. Secrets

Published: February 15, 1988

There is no shortage of memoirs and books by former intelligence officials. But when Graham Fuller retired from the Central Intelligence Agency, leaving his post as national intelligence officer for the Near East and South Asia, his first publication had nothing to do with cloaks, daggers or nasty deeds in back alleys.

Mr. Fuller's book, titled ''How to Learn a Foreign Language,'' suggests a practical approach to a topic that has confounded generations of American high school and college students. Mr. Fuller said he had studied 16 languages and was fluent in several, including Russian, Turkish, Arabic and Chinese. He said he was also competent in French, German and Farsi, the language spoken in Iran that is known by few Government analysts.

''It's really not that difficult,'' he insisted. ''If you know Arabic and Turkish, Farsi is a cinch.'' The book is being published by Storm King Press and distributed by Random House.

Mr. Fuller's name came to public attention last year when it was disclosed that he was the author of a ''think piece'' circulated in the intelligence community in May 1985 suggesting the possiblity of pursuing openings in Iran.

The study was instrumental in persuading some top-ranking Reagan Administration policy makers to begin considering covert contacts with Iranian leaders. It eventually led to the covert sale of United States weapons to Teheran in what became the Iran-contra affair.

Mr. Fuller is now a senior political scientist with the Rand Corporation, the research and consulting organization.

I quote The Enemy:

Graham E. Fuller is an American author and political analyst, specializing in Islamic extremism.

Formerly vice-chair of the National Intelligence Council,he also served as Station Chief in Kabul for the CIA.

A "think piece" that Fuller wrote for the CIA was identified as instrumental in leading to the Iran-contra affair.

After a career in the United States State Department and CIA lasting 27 years, he joined Rand Corporation as senior political scientist specializing in the Middle East.

As of 2006, he was affiliated with the Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC , as an adjunct professor of history.

He is the author of a number of books, including The Future of Political Islam.

Fuller attended Harvard University, where he earned first a BA and then a MA degree in Russian and Middle Eastern Studies.

State Department

Fuller joined the State Department of the United States, entering the Foreign Service for assignments in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

CIA

He served 20 years as an operations officer in the CIA. Assignments include postings in: Germany, Turkey, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, North Yemen, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong.

In 1982, the CIA appointed him National Intelligence Officer for Near East and South Asia,.

In 1986, the CIA appointed him vice-chairman of the National Intelligence Council.

Iran-Contra Affair

In 1987, Fuller was identified as the author of a 1985 study that according to the New York Times was "instrumental" in the decision of the Reagan Administration to secretly contact leaders in Iran and "eventually led to the covert sale of United States weapons to Tehran in what became the Iran-Contra Affair."

The document suggested that the Soviet Union was in position to influence Iran and that the United States might gain influence by selling arms to the country.

According to Fuller, he had revised his opinion as the situation developed, but though he had told Government officials, a written report on the change was not circulated.

Fuller denied that the original "think piece" he had prepared with Howard Teicher was

"tailored... to support Administration policy."

After government
Fuller left the CIA in 1988 for the RAND Corporation, remaining as a senior political scientist until 2000.

An active author and media spokesman, Fuller is an adjunct history professor at Simon Fraser University.

After the Boston Marathon bombings, it was revealed that Fuller's daughter Samantha Ankara Fuller was married to Ruslan Tsarnaev (Tsarni), the terrorists' uncle.

Out on the ragged bleeding edge of the former Soviet Union, Ruslan Tsarni had a decade-long business relationship with Halliburton, the multinational juggernaut run by Dick Cheney before  he became Vice President of the United States.

Delving into the business connections of “Uncle Ruslan” Tsarni, as he became known afterhis well-received condemnation of the atrocities allegedly committed by his nephews Dzhokhar and Tamerlan at the Boston Marathon has led to the discovery of the Rosetta Stone of the Boston Marathon bombing.

Like the elaborately carved stone unearthed almost 200 years ago which led to deciphering ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, digging through Ruslan Tsarni’s curiculum vitae has yielded clues to unlocking the puzzling riddles left behind after last week’s attack.

Two oil fields with a side of natural gas, please

Reported first here two days ago, there has already been a big surprise in Ruslan Tsarni’s background: Tsarni did a two-year stint, beginning in 1992, as a “consultant” for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), in the former Soviet Republic of Kazakhstan.

At a time when vast natural resources and enormous fortunes were ‘in play’  during the economic free-for-all after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the 24-year old Tsarni was already a ‘player.’

Its long been an open secret that USAID is often used overseas to house CIA and other US intelligence operatives.

Oddly enough, just six months ago the country competing with the US for influence in the region, Vladimir Putin’s Russia, unceremoniously kicked USAID out of Russia for, Putin spokesmen alleged, encouraging his political opposition.

However Ruslan’s involvement with USAID, while suggestive, might still be irrelevant, were it not for the discovery of his decade-long involvement with companies in the orbit of the Sun God, Halliburton, which stands accused in numerous and increasingly-credible accounts as "lead dog" in an invading force of “non-state actors.”

All of this, mind, was in support of a noble cause. We were fighting communism. No, wait? We weren't anymore.

Still, we must have been fighting something. Wait. It'll come to me…Maybe it was a push to weaken Russia’s grip over former Soviet Republics. That sounds like an admirable goal. Alas,  the means chosen to achieve it involved providing covert U.S. support, in Chechnya, to Islamic terrorists.

Haven't we all already see that movie? No one with a functioning heart could be anxious to see it again. But, wait! Does Dick have a functioning heart?

Friends Dick never got around to shooting

All was in readiness for the launch of a deniable covert op (the best kind).  In April 2005, Ruslan Tsarni was named an officer in an oil company in Kazakhstan, being run at the time by a man namedS.A. (Al) Sehsuvaroglu.

Sehsuvaroglu had somewhat inexplicably left behind a 25-year career as a top executive at Dick Cheney’s Halliburton—his last job was as Senior Account Manager, Caspian Region; and Country Director, Kazakhstan—and had, just three months before 'Uncle Ruslan' was hired, taken over a penny stock oil play called Big Sky Energy Corp  (OTCBB:BSKO.OB).

Big Al and Uncle Ruslan already knew each other. Both men did time at Nelsen Resources, yet-another Halliburton-connected oilfield company active in Kazakhstan.

Even before that, Tsarni had landed, between 1999 and 2001, at Golden Eagle Partners LLC  in Kazakhstan. Golden Eagle worked so closely with Halliburton, reported London’s Financial Times, that both firms were convicted of collusion to breach confidentiality agreements.

For Uncle Ruslan, who was Golden Eagle's Head of Legal Affairs, it would have been, bery much, a case of "my bad."

In a story headlined “Halliburton ethics called into question,” on Jun 22, 2004, London’s Financial Times reported that both companies had been convicted in Federal Court and fined a total of $70 million.

“At a time when Halliburton is being charged with immoral and even illegal business practices in countries ranging from Iraq to Nigeria,” the paper  reported, “a close reading of the court documents provides a disturbing backdrop.”

Moreover the questionable business practices for which Halliburton was convicted took place under Dick Cheney, who court documents revealed had been very aware of what his minions like Ruslan Tsarni at Golden Eagle had been doing on his behalf.

These were not, to put it kindly, self-made men

Still, while militant Chechen groups have been blamed for terror attacks in the past,  their targets have usually been Russia, their bitter foe in the aucasus wars.

So why is this line of inquiry crucially relevent to the Boston Marathon bombings?

Consider: In the last several months, Tamerlan Tsarnaev had posted videos to YouTube indicating his interest in radical Muslim ideologies.

Moreover the Tsarnaev brothers are of Chechen heritage, born into the  cauldron of the Caucasus; into a war which quickly boiled over until it had engulfed Chechen separatists, Russian security forces, Islamic extremists,  and organized crime.

Last Friday, U.S. authorities said they had no proof that anybody beyond the two Tsarnaev brothers was involved in the marathon attacks. But they were not done looking.

Then yesterday two law enforcement officials stated that they believe there is a “Chechen connection” to the bombings.

Ruslan Tsarni’s personal and business background are in the same troubled region—Chechnya and the former Soviet Republics collectively known as the Stans—that is crucial to piecing together the narrative of his two nephews in the Boston Marathon bombing.

And as an officer with decades of experience working with companies doing business in a highly-volatile region, it is fair to question how much of Ruslan Tsarni’s impassioned rant against his nephews owed to shame for his family’s disgrace, and how much to rage at having his past revealed—as he had to have known it would be—in an unflattering light.

A bleeding edge that really is…a bleeding edge

You can look for clues out on the ragged bleeding edge of the Russian Federation in troubled Dagestan, and prowl the back alleys of Makhachkala on the Caspian Sea.

Or you can look in Almaty, out on the wind-swept steppes of Kazakhstan.

Or poke around tiny Bishkek, capital of the little “Stan” that could, the one no one’s ever heard of, Kyrgyzstan.

Or trek to Tokmok, home to a large ethnic Chechen community, where you can seek out the former home of Anzor Tsarnaev, sitting right next door to that country’s top Mob Boss, a man named Aziz Batukaev, who to the surprise of no one locally, just secured his early release from prison.

And you can marvel that it truly is a small world after all, when a train of events set in motion 6200 miles east of Boston came to shut down a major American city and transfix an entire nation for an week.

But if you’re the type that prefers to get your travel fix watching Michael Palin trekking across a wall-mounted 60’ TV screen, you can turn your eyes to a man standing at the top of the driveway of a smart-looking $600,000 Federalist-style home in an upper-middle class planned community outside of Washington D.C.

Wearing blue jeans, flip-flops and a blue polo shirt, “Uncle Ruslan” Tsarni’s vehement denunciation of his nephews won him thumbs up from everyone from Keith Olbermann on the left, who called him the "definition of a great American," to John Podhoretz on the right, who said “Ruslan Tsarni was the only good news of the week.”

It seemed too good to be true. And it was.

NSA: Forget the B.S. stories about Snowden

"I can't allow the US Government to destroy privacy and basic liberties"

And yet he goes it work for the National Security Agency
- who do literally nothing else...

On the same day that Qusayr fell, the British and French governments hysterically demanded that Obama undertake a total bombing campaign against Syria, whatever the consequences in regard to Russia and other powers. To his credit, Obama is continuing to say no to this lunatic Anglo-French neocolonial adventure.

On that same June 5, the London-based daily The Guardian, in an article by the expatriate American Glenn Greenwald, hyped a court order from the secret FISA panel of federal judges showing that the US National Security Agency was routinely monitoring the telephone records (including time, locations, call duration, and unique identifiers, but not the contents of the conversations) of possibly unlimited millions of Verizon phone subscribers. Back in the US, reactionary talk show hosts began screaming

“Obama taps your phones!”

On June 6, again in advance of every other newspaper in the world, The Guardian published another article by Glenn Greenwald and Ewen MacAskill revealing that the National Security Agency, under a program called Prism, had obtained direct access to the servers of Google, Facebook, Yahoo, Apple, Youtube, Skype, AOL, and Microsoft, and was busily monitoring the content of e-mails, file transfers, and live conversations. Back in the US, reactionary talk show hosts began screaming,

“Obama reads your e-mail!”

Forget the B.S. stories about Snowden, there is only ONE that applies and you will not hear about it in the press, which has protected the NSA with a great big white wash. Snowden worked out at Kunia. He had an extensive training program he had to go through before being allowed in. He HAD TO have been 99th percentile, the story about high school drop out is B.S, and so is the rest of the washing of his background. After hearing his conscience out at Kunia, he left Hawaii, defected, and told the truth.

There is also a rumor that Snowden worked for a contractor for $122,000 a year. I doubt that seriously because the NSA is so secretive it is extremely wary of contractors, and during my time with the NSA, I saw only 2 people EVER that were contractors, and they were never out on the operations floor. So yeah, I buy $122,000 a year, but NOT with a contractor. People who get to see enough to reveal what Snowden did have million dollar background checks, involving interviews with practically everyone in their past, and the interviewers do not identify themselves, they just talk as friends over a beer or whatever. So no one knows when they are being asked questions about someone the NSA intends to hire. These background checks take a year or so to complete and contractors can't afford to do that, the FED does. What Snowden revealed proves through emperical evidence that he was not employed by a contractor, he was just straight up NSA. The entire High School drop out story is pure B.S., because if during one of these checks any of the secret questioners comes up with even a little whiff of something wrong with your past, YOU ARE OUT.

Unlike the CIA, which has over a million spooks, the NSA is so secretive that very few people break the barrier to entry, which limits the size of the NSA to below 50,000 people total, a majority of which are highly talented super geeks. The expense of the background investigations alone seriously limits the number of people the NSA can hire.

Don't expect anything that is now claimed to be said by Snowden as actually coming from him. They are whitewashing this as fast as possible, while making false posts and statements to the web and media that claim to be from him. By now he has been replaced with the public image of someone else. For starters, it is ERIC SNOWDEN, not EDWARD as we are now told and this subtle name change will be used to deflect meaningful search into his past.

My own experience in the NSA is enough to prove what little I have said about Snowden to be true. There is ONE OPTION - Snowden was BRILLIANT, had extensive back ground searches done on him, went through a very difficult school, got assigned to Kunia where he lived in the same location as many other NSA people who have families do, drove to Kunia daily, and finally could not take what he was seeing there anymore and ratted them out. THAT IS THE ONLY STORY. Snowden did not have a girlfriend. He had a wife, and any reference to him "leaving his girlfriend behind" is another lie. You cannot live where Snowden did and have a "girlfriend", the NSA will not put you in the premium government family housing in Waipahu for only a "girlfriend".

Furthermore, stories about the house being sold now are B.S., because Snowden was in government housing the same as all lower level NSA people are given. Unless you are an outside contractor (and those are very few in number), The NSA does not leave it's people to run with the general public, they all get assigned a living area where like minded people are. And from these few mistakes the press made, we can assume that the entire background they are presenting on Snowden is a lie. The house he was in was never owned by him and DID NOT get sold.

To see a long list of B.S. my own experience proves to be lies, just google "where snowden lived"

Furthermore, the "leaked documents from anonymous" are PURE B.S. and are all readily available public documents. I see this as an attempt to muddy the waters with regard to Snowden's legitimate leak.

Watch for story creep in the mainstream and portions of the alternative press regarding what I have said here, since I am former NSA telling it like it is I have noticed that the story keeps getting regular tweaks to counteract what I say here, the latest being "it was his girlfriend's house". Don't buy into the tweaks, what is above is a truthfully rational assessment of HOW IT HAD TO BE, from someone who simply knows how things are. Granted, when I was with the NSA they were not spying on Americans, but their procedures and methods were anchored in stone and for what I have said above to not weigh out now would mean something massive regarding hiring policy, housing policy, contractor policy and other things changed there, which I doubt, especially if this is the first big leak and Kunia is still misrepresented on Google maps, with the real entry obscured by a cloud.

Where Snowden worked (see my comments following this article) and in case you are new here, I am former NSA and have toured this facility. To pull this up on Google maps, type Kunia Oahu into Google.
If there is one thing we have learned from this, it is that if they can do it they will do it, so this report is going to show you what the capabilities have GOT TO be right now and what to expect from the NSA in the future.
1. Recording of all conversations occurring in cars manufactured after 2004 and sold in the United States via an always on cell connection which is built into the engine control computer. Engine control computers are always placed in the passenger compartment where they can hear everything, though in the past they did not have ears. The fact that they do now was mandated by the Federal government and became a legally required component of all cars from year 2005 on. This started in the late 90's with GM's Onstar. You may have seen an onstar commercial where the Onstar representitive is talking to the driver through the radio speakers. ALL new cars have at least one side of this capability - the outgoing microphone -installed in them NOW.
2. Recording of all conversations happening in the vicinity of a computer equipped with an Intel CoreVPro or Sandy Bridge processor, even if it is not "online" and even while "turned off". Intel evidently thought it was a good security choice to have full time cell connectivity built into the heart of every CPU they produce, and I bet you don't know that new Intel laptop you just bought is ALWAYS online, even when turned off. YOU don't get to use that connection though, which leaves the question, WHO DOES?
3. All cell phones have been and will continue to be (this started in 2005) in speech to text mode, where the phone listens to nearby conversations, converts them to text, and loads the text to an NSA server during cell phone tower updates which happen frequently during the day as part of normal cell operation. In the past, whenever they put full time monitoring on cell phones, the batteries would die in a couple of hours and the phone would always be hot. People noticed this, so to circumvent that all cell phones were equipped with speech to text software and though it is not perfect, it still gives pretty good "intelligence" about the user without draining the battery at all. Once again, as it is with the new Intel processors and their always on cell connection, you don't even know that software exists
4. Recording of all conversations in the vicinity of computers that are turned on and have an internet connection even if they have no CoreVPro or Sandy Bridge CPU, but that's old news.
5. Video and sound recording of household activities within view of a Samsung SmartTV, any of the new video gaming consoles, or any smart meter compliant appliance which can communicate with an electrical smart meter. All electrical smart meters have wifi, 3g, and sometimes 4g connectivity for the sole purpose of "receiving daily energy related instructions". Yeah right.
6. Possible now - ALL cell phones which have cameras most likely are, right now, constantly taking a sequence of photos while out in public, and uploading them during cell tower updates to hide battery usage and the cell phone's owner never realizes this.

People need to recognize the importance of what Edward Snowden did. He gave us a fixed reference point for what the NSA was capable of in 2005, and from there we can calculate what they can do NOW

Moore's law, and what it means for the NSA
Most everyone knows about Moore's law which states that computers will double in power once every 18 months as technology advances. Moore was partially right, because in reality computers ended up doubling in power more frequently - once every 13 months. But let's just use 18 months as a reference standard anyone could agree on. If in 2005 the NSA was able to record and permanently store every phone conversation, video chat, internet record for everyone, every text, every e-mail, and store it forever BACK THEN, let's see how many times that capability just went into that NSA data center in Utah.
2013-2005=8 x 12 = 96 / 18 = 5.3 doublings of processing power since 2005. First doubling will be 1 plus 1, then after that x2. So we have 1+1x2x2x2x2, which equals 32 times the processing power available in 2005. If we take 100 percent and divide it by 32, we can see how strong in percent what they had in 2005 will compare to that new data center in Utah. 100/32 = 3.125% Now, I would like to ask you to appeal to your logic - If they were already permanently recording every phone call, financial transaction, video chat, e-mail, text message, and whatever else with a system that was only a little over 3 percent as powerful as what they just put into Utah, WHAT NEW CAPABILITIES DID THEY JUST GET?
How about:
Every vacation picture you take with any Wifi equipped digital camera instantly uploading to an NSA server for permanent storage as possible future evidence? How about every music project you ever worked on with a PC? How about every family video you ever shot, every place your car ever went and everything you said while driving? How about your smart microwave, via your smart meter, sending out all the audio in your house, to corroborate what your cell phone is sending out, to corroborate what your smartTV is sending out, to corroborate what your PC sent out, to corroborate what your land line sent out, to corroborate what your game console sent out and having ALL of those recordings of what went on in your house being permanently stored on the NSA server, just in case the microwave did not hear it clearly? THAT is what 32 times the capability of what they had in 2005 means, and if we learned anything from Edward, it is that If they can do it, they will do it, which is an affirmation of what I have said all along
I got called a wacko by a few when I said ALL phone conversations were being permanently recorded and stored on an NSA server, as well as all texts and e-mails, regardless of who made them and ended up being right, even if I was behind in saying this by 6 or 7 years. Now I am taking that a step farther, and I would like to ask you, do you think I am wrong this time?

The bottom line is that the surveillance state has gotten so powerful that even a creative mind could never dream up what it is really capable of. There is no doubt a lot I missed

UPDATE: ABOUT THE NSA CENTER IN KUNIA, WHERE SNOWDEN WORKED

Kunia is geographically isolated yet ideally located for electronic warfare operations in the Pacific theatre. It was the largest NSA center on American soil prior to Utah, (there are bigger ones elsewhere) and employs approximately 7,000 people. Now here is the kicker

Because Kunia was geographically isolated, the fact that they could record all phone conversations from there means that the NSA center in Utah, which is on what could be argued as the strongest part of the internet back bone in the world, - that added bandwidth potential with no bottlenecks, means that the data center in Utah will dwarf the abilities of Kunia by at least 200:1.

This also has other damning ramifications - that the NSA really did shift missions after 9/11 because if you wanted to spy on the American mainland, your pride and joy system that recorded everything should not be located in Hawaii. Yet it is confirmed - Edward Snowden worked at Kunia, which as young as he was would have been his only facility. This means that the system of compartmentalized clearances would have prevented him from knowing about PRISM if it was NOT LOCATED AT KUNIA.

And on that note, I have this to say to the NSA:

You traitorous bastards, HOW DARE YOU convert a legitimate defense facility for THAT TYPE OF USE. If you don't like me ratting out Kunia, you can * OFF.

Additionally About the NSA - an important note

The NSA has NO GOONS, NO AGENTS, NO ONE working outside of their secret facilities. IF ANYONE CLAIMS TO HAVE BEEN VISITED BY THE NSA, THEY ARE FRAUDS, THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN. The NSA has nothing but geeks at data terminals, that do ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY - WATCH AND LISTEN. If you have read online about someone who has been visited by the NSA, they are full of B.S., that is the job of the CIA, FBI, or whatever other agencies have active agents working out in public. The NSA is behind closed doors only.

If you have read anything online about someone getting visited by the NSA, throw it straight in the trash. It's an outright lie.

Under George Bush, warrantless wiretaps and similar illegal programs were revealed by various media organs. These revelations had minimal impact on Bush, whose base was indifferent to civil liberties.

Obama’s base, by contrast, cares very much, and has been visibly upset by these new reports.

While strongly condemning these totalitarian programs, we must also not lose sight of who is putting these reports into circulation, and why.

Phone taps are bad, but a general war in the Middle East leading to a possible Third World War is far worse.

The British and French defense and intelligence establishment (they have virtually merged) want Obama and the American people to take the lead and shoulder the risk in a perilous attack on Syria, in time to preserve the death squads so they can fight another day in another country.

London and Paris, of course, see themselves as the principal beneficiaries of the breakup of Syria.

Since Obama is currently blocking their plans, they are bringing up their big guns of scandal, with the center-left Guardian evidently chosen to take the point, doubtless to obtain more attention among Obama’s leftist supporters.

Petraeus Kills His Own

Thanks for telling me it was a good day until I briefed you. [General Petraeus]—You are only interested in your career and provide no support to your staff—no msn [mission] support and you don’t care.

I cannot support a msn that leads to corruption, human right abuses and liars. I am sullied—no more. I didn’t volunteer to support corrupt, money grubbing contractors, nor work for commanders only interested in themselves.

I came to serve honorably and feel dishonored. I trust no Iraqi. I cannot live this way.

All my love to my family, my wife and my precious children. I love you and trust you only. Death before being dishonored any more.

Trust is essential—I don’t know who trust anymore. [sic] Why serve when you cannot accomplish the mission, when you no longer believe in the cause, when your every effort and breath to succeed meets with lies, lack of support, and selfishness?

No more.

Reevaluate yourselves, cdrs [commanders]. You are not what you think you are and I know it.

COL Ted Westhusing

Life needs trust. Trust is no more for me here in Iraq.

Two years before Westhusing left for Baghdad, he had finished his doctoral dissertation in philosophy at Emory University in Atlanta. The focus was on honor and the ethics of war. Westhusing wanted to understand arete—the ancient Greek word meaning virtue, skill, and excellence. His quest for understanding the concept was, he believed, a central part of his existence. “Born to be a warrior, I desire these answers not just for philosophical reasons, but for self-knowledge,” he wrote.

Westhusing did not find excellence or virtue in Iraq.

When he was in Iraq, Westhusing worked for one of the most famous generals in the U.S. military, David Petraeus. In January, Petraeus was appointed by President Bush to lead all U.S. forces in Iraq. As the head of counterterrorism and special operations under Petraeus, Westhusing oversaw the single most important task facing the U.S. military in Iraq then and now: training the Iraqi security forces.

Petraeus was impressed with Westhusing. By 2005, Petraeus had become a darling of the U.S. media thanks, in part, to his success in helping stabilize and rebuild northern Iraq. Petraeus liked what he saw in Westhusing and promoted him from lieutenant colonel to full colonel. In a March 2005 e-mail, Petraeus told Westhusing that he had “already exceeded the very lofty expectations that all had for you.”

It appears that shortly after writing the note, at about 1 p.m. Baghdad time, Westhusing took the 9 mm Beretta automatic pistol he’d been issued at Fort Benning five months earlier, placed it behind his left ear, and pulled the trigger.

After Westhusing’s death, there was a great deal of speculation.

Some family members and friends began wondering if he had been murdered.

Westhusing was supposed to leave for the U.S. on July 7. Yet he killed himself on June 5.

Why, they asked, couldn’t he stick it out for just one more month?

Much of the speculation focused on USIS and the contractors.

Did Westhusing have evidence that the contractors wanted to keep quiet?

There were conflicting stories from the contractors about how they discovered Westhusing’s body. One manager said that the first time he went to find Westhusing after lunch on June 5, the door to Westhusing’s room was locked.

But on a second visit, he said, he found the door unlocked. Further, one of the first people to find Westhusing in his room, a military contractor, moved Westhusing’s pistol from its original position, claiming he had done so for safety reasons.

That person was never checked for gunpowder residue.

The Most Important Suicide Note You May Ever Read - Col. Ted Westhusing, June 5th, 2005

The big news at this year’s Bilderberg meeting is the arrival of General David Petraeus, who was forced out last November as head of the US Central Intelligence Agency under circumstances which strongly suggested that he had taken part in a Seven Days in May scenario, joining with a shadowy cabal of generals, admirals, politicians, pollsters and defense contractors to oust Obama from the White House regardless of the actual vote count last November, and to install a permanent dictatorship of war and austerity under the figurehead of the Wall Street financier Willard Mitt Romney.

"I'll tell you right now, unequivocally; I won't give the reason for your resignations.... If I were to do that, this country would go right down the drain..."
President Jordan Lyman

"You can't HANDLE the truth!!"
Colonel Nathan R. Jessep

The best-known public manifestation of that effort has so far been the Benghazi incident of September 11, 2012, an orchestrated pre-election provocation (or “October surprise”) intended to put the Obama campaign on the defensive.

From the Bush-Clinton transition, January 1993.

Liars.

Romney and Rove's October Surprise Redux: The Smoking Gun from Paul Coker on Vimeo.

Hillary Clinton went on National Television to blame internet video "The Innocence of Muslims" for triggering a spontaneous protest in Libya which killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others.

Because that's the CIA told her had happened.

That's NOT what they told the Romney/Ryan Campaign - they told THEM it was an Act of Terror.

At 10:08 EST, footage of the raid on the Benghazi compound shot (and EDITED) by the attackers themselves had already begun airing on CNN on Anderson Cooper's AC360 9/11 Special.

physcial tape of the (first) attack, edited on an offline editing suite had been handed to CNN and was broadcast live on CNN within 5 hrs of the shooting starting - Al-Jazeera did not recieve a copy.

At 10:08 EST (4:08am in Libya), CIA Officers Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods were still alive.

The CIA sponsored ,militia had just (miraculously) located the super-top secret CIA Secruity Annex and unleashed a SECOND, murderous assault, with the clear intent to leave no-one left alive, only withdrawing when friendly Libyan Miilitias loyal to the Government arrived to chase off the CIA Contra under the Command of Director Petreaus in Langley,

David Petreaus tried to murder him own people at Benghazi.

The Benghazi Muggers in Their Own Words (Now with Partial Arabic Translation) from Paul Cokeron Vimeo.
The following was written by the original YouTube user who had the (partial) translation done, and I cannot vouch for it, although I do intend to seek out my own translater for the Mahgrebi Arabic being spoken by the frightened looking men with AK's cowering in fear of the one, batsh*t crazy Arab speaking with a Gulf Arabic dialect and accent, because even to Anglophone easrs, the two are really distinct and he's clearly the only out of town "terrorist" taking part in this glorified mugging.

Just one "terrorist", shooter with an asault weapon and home made flash-bangs.

Damn - that's only about 1/6 as many "terrorist" shooters with assault weapons as we involved in carrying out Columbine.... And they had way better pipe bombs, to boot.

Surely it can't just be because he's brown he's classed as a "terrorist" by The White Man in America, now could it...?

"As I listened to the terrorists speaking in loud voices and at times yelling, I wondered where the American Diplomatic Security Special Agents were?

Perhaps the nine foot block walls cut out the noise or maybe the terrorists were not even at the U.S. Consulate compound

(as it turns out, they were right outside the compound).

I thought surely the CIA looked at this video and immediately had it translated and examined to learn what was said and to determine where the terrorists were having their little talk.

I thought surely all of the major TV networks and of course the NY Times have reporters who have heard this audio.

Surely they all must know what is being said

So where is the translation?

After searching for a certified Arabic translator for three weeks, I finally found one who agreed to translate this video into English.

Unfortunately, once he actually saw and listened to the video he became very distressed. He said that these "people" do not truly represent Islam. After listening patiently to a 1½ hour history lesson on Islam and reading parts of an English translation of the Koran with him, I agreed the terrorists did not represent Islam.

Actually I agreed with him immediately, but he didn't believe me I guess [ GEE, I CAN'T IMAGINE WHY...] —because he kept going. I listened patiently as he proved the terrorists did not represent Islam.

Anyway he finally watched and listened to this short video clip for about an hour.

In the end, he was clearly too stressed to share the translation of everything he heard and he implied that the terrorists were speaking in two different Arabic dialects, Libyan (Maghrebi), which he understood, and another one which he could not understand very well.

So I have concluded that I need another Arabic speaking translator for the parts my translator could not understand or refused to translate for me.

If anyone wants to help, please let me know what you hear in the comments section.

Now as to what my certified translator did translate for me. First he concluded that the terrorists did not seem to have a clear leader. Words and phrase that he could clearly understand are as follows:

00:00-00:05 Announcer: "We are now showing you the first pictures of the attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi."

00:21 "I swear to God you did your best."

00:22 "Listen to me."

00:22 "Take pictures, take pictures."

00:23-24 "Keep it moving."

00:30 "Listen to me."

00:31 "We did something, no need to waste time talking. We can move forward."

00:32 "I'll stay with you and what I am feeling is the same as you."

00:33 "The American."

00:40--00:41 "You do not know what's going on."

Note: Here the terrorist may be speaking to the young man in the navy *blue* vest.

I have concluded that he is a frightened *Blue* Mountain security guard who was lucky to escape with his life.
00:56—00:58 "Try from other (spot, place, side, or direction.)"

01:01 "Trying from other direction."

01:11 "Blood."

01:13 "Blood."

The remaining statements are untimed. My translator said he had another appointment so I did not get to nail down the times and we did not get through timing the video past 1 minute 13 seconds.

Unknown times:

"Keep using the camera to take pictures."

"Need to show what we can do to America."

"Say or remember God."

"Young men, listen to me."

"The window toward the yard."

"Let them bleed." "

The Benghazi incident occurred in the area of command responsibility of General Petraeus as CIA Director, and of General Carter Ham, head of the US Africa Command.

Petraeus, Allen, Gaouette, Ham The Benghazi Story The Media Isn't Telling You from Paul Coker on Vimeo.

"Why doth Treason never prosper...?

...for if it
prospered, none dare call it Treason...."

Both of these officers, along with Afghanistan commander General Allen, NATO commander Admiral Stavridis, and a dozen or more others of flag rank were ousted for various official reasons in a post election purge.

But there is good reason to conclude that the United States had narrowly escaped what might be called a veiled military coup d’état.
