OSAMA Bin Laden sat in his gold- fringed robe, guarded by the loyal Arab mujahedin who fought alongside him in Afghanistan. Bearded, taciturn figures - unarmed, but never more than a few yards from the man who recruited them, trained them and then dispatched them to destroy the Soviet army - they watched unsmiling as the Sudanese villagers of Almatig lined up to thank the Saudi businessman who is about to complete the highway linking their homes to Khartoum for the first time in history.

With his high cheekbones, narrow eyes and long brown robe, Mr Bin Laden looks every inch the mountain warrior of mujahedin legend. Chadored children danced in front of him, preachers acknowledged his wisdom. 'We have been waiting for this road through all the revolutions in Sudan,' a sheikh said. 'We waited until we had given up on everybody - and then Osama Bin Laden came along.'

Outside Sudan, Mr Bin Laden is not regarded with quite such high esteem. The Egyptian press claims he brought hundreds of former Arab fighters back to Sudan from Afghanistan, while the Western embassy circuit in Khartoum has suggested that some of the 'Afghans' whom this Saudi entrepreneur flew to Sudan are now busy training for further jihad wars in Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt. Mr Bin Laden is well aware of this. 

'The rubbish of the media and the embassies,' he calls it. 'I am a construction engineer and an agriculturalist. If I had training camps here in Sudan, I couldn't possibly do this job.'

And 'this job' is certainly an ambitious one: a brand-new highway stretching all the way from Khartoum to Port Sudan, a distance of 1,200km (745 miles) on the old road, now shortened to 800km by the new Bin Laden route that will turn the coastal run from the capital into a mere day's journey. Into a country that is despised by Saudi Arabia for its support of Saddam Hussein in the Gulf war almost as much as it is condemned by the United States, Mr Bin Laden has brought the very construction equipment that he used only five years ago to build the guerrilla trails of Afghanistan.

He is a shy man. Maintaining a home in Khartoum and only a small apartment in his home city of Jeddah, he is married - with four wives - but wary of the press. His interview with the Independent was the first he has ever given to a Western journalist, and he initially refused to talk about Afghanistan, sitting silently on a chair at the back of a makeshift tent, brushing his teeth in the Arab fashion with a stick of miswak wood. But talk he eventually did about a war which he helped to win for the Afghan mujahedin: 'What I lived in two years there, I could not have lived in a hundred years elsewhere,' he said.

When the history of the Afghan resistance movement is written, Mr Bin Laden's own contribution to the mujahedin - and the indirect result of his training and assistance - may turn out to be a turning- point in the recent history of militant fundamentalism; even if, today, he tries to minimise his role. 'When the invasion of Afghanistan started, I was enraged and went there at once - I arrived within days, before the end of 1979,' he said. 'Yes, I fought there, but my fellow Muslims did much more than I. Many of them died and I am still alive.'

Within months, however, Mr Bin Laden was sending Arab fighters - Egyptians, Algerians, Lebanese, Kuwaitis, Turks and Tunisians - into Afghanistan; 'not hundreds but thousands,' he said. He supported them with weapons and his own construction equipment. Along with his Iraqi engineer, Mohamed Saad - who is now building the Port Sudan road - Mr Bin Laden blasted massive tunnels into the Zazi mountains of Bakhtiar province for guerrilla hospitals and arms dumps, then cut a mujahedin trail across the country to within 15 miles of Kabul.

'No, I was never afraid of death. As Muslims, we believe that when we die, we go to heaven. Before a battle, God sends us seqina, tranquillity.

'Once I was only 30 metres from the Russians and they were trying to capture me. I was under bombardment but I was so peaceful in my heart that I fell asleep. This experience has been written about in our earliest books. I saw a 120mm mortar shell land in front of me, but it did not blow up. Four more bombs were dropped from a Russian plane on our headquarters but they did not explode. We beat the Soviet Union. The Russians fled.'

But what of the Arab mujahedin whom he took to Afghanistan - members of a guerrilla army who were also encouraged and armed by the United States - and who were forgotten when that war was over? 'Personally neither I nor my brothers saw evidence of American help. When my mujahedin were victorious and the Russians were driven out, differences started (between the guerrilla movements) so I returned to road construction in Taif and Abha. I brought back the equipment I had used to build tunnels and roads for the mujahedin in Afghanistan. Yes, I helped some of my comrades to come here to Sudan after the war.'

How many? Osama Bin Laden shakes his head. 'I don't want to say. But they are here now with me, they are working right here, building this road to Port Sudan.' I told him that Bosnian Muslim fighters in the Bosnian town of Travnik had mentioned his name to me. 'I feel the same about Bosnia,' he said. 'But the situation there does not provide the same opportunities as Afghanistan. A small number of mujahedin have gone to fight in Bosnia-Herzegovina but the Croats won't allow the mujahedin in through Croatia as the Pakistanis did with Afghanistan.'

Thus did Mr Bin Laden reflect upon jihad while his former fellow combatants looked on. Was it not a little bit anti-climactic for them, I asked, to fight the Russians and end up road-building in Sudan? 'They like this work and so do I. This is a great plan which we are achieving for the people here, it helps the Muslims and improves their lives.'

His Bin Laden company - not to be confused with the larger construction business run by his cousins - is paid in Sudanese currency which is then used to purchase sesame and other products for export; profits are clearly not Mr Bin Laden's top priority.

How did he feel about Algeria, I asked? But a man in a green suit calling himself Mohamed Moussa - he claimed to be Nigerian although he was a Sudanese security officer - tapped me on the arm. 'You have asked more than enough questions,' he said. At which Mr Bin Laden went off to inspect his new road.

Benghazi: Where Does Egypt Figure into All of This....?

This thing in Egypt isn't a coup, it's a counter-coup.

The installation of Morsi was entirely an expression of a covert operation by the Israeli Mossad, who helped create the Muslim Brotherhood in 1954 to destabilise Nasser and other Pan-Arabist Socialists.

The "uprising" of 2011 was not authentic and it was not native - it was entirely coming out of the American University in Cario (CIA front, natch.), which had come under control of the Cato Institute, which is by now a complete instrument of the Koch Brothers.

In Jesse Ventura's 63 Documents, he quotes from a leaked Koch weekend retreat agenda and a keynote delivered by David Koch where he express the immediate goal of his patrons (which included Clarence Thomas, Scalia, Eric Cantor and Glenn Beck that time around) to "take the Tea Parties global".

That's what they did.

The Arab Spring in general, and the Egyptian uprising in particular kicked off in December 2008 - it's a Bush Administration long-tailed covert operation.

It was kicked off by Julian Assange and Wikileaks, who, care scrutiny reveals, quite obviously appears to be working for Karl Rove and the Israelis.

The Republicans and the Muslim Brotherhood

It's a very close parallel to what GHWB, Richard Helms, Kissinger and the Rockerfellers pulled off between 1975 and 1981 with the Shah and the Iranian Revolution.

Helms learnt in 1975 that the Shah had terminal cancer and no viable successor and told all of the above.

He didn't tell Jimmy Carter, who found out in 1979, about a week before the Embassy was seized, after admitting the Shah for treatment on Humanitarian grounds.

They hit Mubarek with this when he was brought low with a severe bought of cancer.

" The philosophical divide within the U.S. National Security establishment, especially the CIA, became quite serious in the aftermath of Watergate. To make matters worse, the election of Jimmy Carter in 1976, his campaign promise to clean the "cowboy" elements out of the Central Intelligence Agency and his "human rights" policies alarmed the faction of the CIA loyal to George Bush. Bush was CIA director under Richard Nixon. Finally, the firing of CIA Director George Bush by Carter, and the subsequent "Halloween Massacre" in which Carter fired over 800 CIA covert operatives in 1977, angered the "cowboys" beyond all measure. That was Carter's October surprise, 800 firings on Halloween 1977.

Bush and his CIA coverts were well aware of the Shah's terminal cancer, unknown to President Carter. The team had an elaborate vested interest to protect. They were determined to keep Iran intact and communist-free and put George Bush in the White House.

SEQUENCE OF EVENTS

Hence, the Islamic Fundamentalists were the only viable choice through which the Bush covert team could implement its own private foreign policy. The results: the birth of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the fall of President Carter, and the emergence of something called the "New World Order." Mansoor's documents show step-by-step events:

1. In 1974, the Shah of Iran was diagnosed with cancer.

2. In 1975, former CIA director, and the U.S. Ambassador to Iran, Richard Helms learned of the Shah's cancer through the Shah's closest confidant, General Hossein Fardoust. The Shah, Helms and Fardoust had been close personal friends since their school days together in Switzerland during the 1930s.

3. On November 4, 1976, concurrent with Jimmy Carter's election as President, CIA Director George Bush issued a secret memo to the U.S. Ambassador in Iran, Richard Helms, asking:

"Have there been any changes in the personality pattern of the Shah; what are their implication pattern for political behavior? Identification of top military officers that most likely play key roles in any transference of power if the Shah were killed...who will be the leading actors? How will the Shah's pet projects, including the economic development program, be effected by his departure?"

4. By July 1977, anticipating trouble ahead, the Bush covert team issued preliminary script for the transition of power in Iran. According to John D. Stemple, a CIA analyst and Deputy Chief Political officer of the U.S. Embassy in Iran, "A ten page analysis of the opposition written by the embassy's political section in July 1977 correctly identified Bakhiar, Bazargan, Khomeini and Behesti as major actors in the drama that begin unfolding a year later."

5. Contrary to this analysis, in August 1977, the "official wing" of the CIA fed President Carter a 60-page Study on Iran which concluded:

"The Shah will be an active participant in Iranian life well into the 1980s...and there will be no radical changes in Iranian political behavior in the near future."

The October Surprise in Context

Mubarak also (consciously) blew the lid on CIA control of what became "al-Qaeda": in April of 1993, he gave an interview with the New York Times, quoted on CBS Evening News that the "Blind Sheikh", Omar Abdul-Rahman was a CIA asset, being used to recruit in America for Jihad and channel radicalised Muslims to Afghanistan to be trained in camps built with CIA money by the Saudi Binladen Group.

These CIA Jihadis turned up in Bosnia, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Chechya, Dagestan... Anywhere that NATO, following the Brzynski Doctrine calculated they would be best placed to inflict great damage to Russia.

The Bank of Credit and Commerce International was the funding conduit and money laundering operation for (amongst other things) the Mujaheddin Support Effort, the CIA Jihadi training camps built in Afghanistan by the Saudi Binladen Group (some destroyed by the Missile strikes of 1998), all of Oliver North's Iran Contra doings in his "Off the Shelf Enterprise", General Noreiega, Pablo Escobar's Medellin Cartel, the October Surprise, PROMIS Software, the Mena Connection, the post-Soviet Mujahiden trraining effort, (GLADIO-B), the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing (2/26) and much more besides.

Most crucially, in concert with PROMIS Software, BCCI was the covert mechanism by which then-Vice President Bush and the Kissingerites such as Al Haig could covertly aid and supply the Islamic Republic of Pakistan under Zia al-Huq with technology, technical assistantce and materiel for the Pakistani nuclear weapons program behind the backs of the Reagan White House.

Many of these guy later turned up in Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro, many of them being sent to Afghanistan and back for training and further radicalisation in the late 1990s.

A small number of them were still there in late October 2001 when the CIA and US Army Rangers moved in - doubtless, some of them met their end amongst the 5000 trainee Mujahed who were left to die of suffocation, heat exhaustion and dysentry following the capture of Mazar-i-Sharif by the CIA and the rump Northern Alliance (largely leaderless in the wake of the assassination of Commander Ahmed Shah Massoud on 9/9/2001), before being dumped into mass graves in the pits of Dasht-i-Leili.

The Blind Sheikh was arrested by the FBI in Jersey City the next day, having blown their entire 6month long surveillance operation  on what were now revealed to be CIA assets.

The first thing Morsi did upon assuming office (in the days immediately preceding the Benghazi attack) was to formally request the US Government to release the Blind Sheikh.

The State Dept., predictably, gave the usual, polite "we will suggest it and see that it is given serious consideration" response.

This got reported in the days prior to Benghazi as "Obama is considering releasing The Blind Sheikh!", which obviously was not true.

Where Benghazi went wrong was that the CIA Jihadi Contra bungled the kidnapping and Chris Stevens died of smoke inhalation locked inside his own Panic Room.

The following was written by the original YouTube user who had the (partial) translation done, and I cannot vouch for it, although I do intend to seek out my own translater for the Mahgrebi Arabic being spoken by the frightened looking men with AK's cowering in fear of the one, batsh*t crazy Arab speaking with a Gulf Arabic dialect and accent, because even to Anglophone easrs, the two are really distinct and he's clearly the only out of town "terrorist" taking part in this glorified mugging.

Damn - that's only about 1/6 as many "terrorist" shooters with assault weapons as we involved in carrying out Columbine.... And they had way better pipe bombs, to boot.

Surely it can't just be because he's brown he's classed as a "terrorist" by The White Man in America, now could it...?

"As I listened to the terrorists speaking in loud voices and at times yelling, I wondered where the American Diplomatic Security Special Agents were? Perhaps the nine foot block walls cut out the noise or maybe the terrorists were not even at the U.S. Consulate compound (as it turns out, they were right outside the compound). I thought surely the CIA looked at this video and immediately had it translated and examined to learn what was said and to determine where the terrorists were having their little talk. I thought surely all of the major TV networks and of course the NY Times have reporters who have heard this audio. Surely they all must know what is being said. So where is the translation?

After searching for a certified Arabic translator for three weeks, I finally found one who agreed to translate this video into English. 

Unfortunately, once he actually saw and listened to the video he became very distressed. He said that these "people" do not truly represent Islam. After listening patiently to a 1½ hour history lesson on Islam and reading parts of an English translation of the Koran with him, I agreed the terrorists did not represent Islam.

Actually I agreed with him immediately, but he didn't believe me I guess[ GEE, I CAN'T IMAGINE WHY...] —because he kept going. I listened patiently as he proved the terrorists did not represent Islam. 

Anyway he finally watched and listened to this short video clip for about an hour. 

In the end, he was clearly too stressed to share the translation of everything he heard and he implied that the terrorists were speaking in two different Arabic dialects, Libyan (Maghrebi), which he understood, and another one which he could not understand very well. 

So I have concluded that I need another Arabic speaking translator for the parts my translator could not understand or refused to translate for me.

Now as to what my certified translator did translate for me. First he concluded that the terrorists did not seem to have a clear leader. Words and phrase that he could clearly understand are as follows:

The remaining statements are untimed. My translator said he had another appointment so I did not get to nail down the times and we did not get through timing the video past 1 minute 13 seconds.

Life needs trust. Trust is no more for me here in Iraq."



Two years before Westhusing left for Baghdad, he had finished his doctoral dissertation in philosophy at Emory University in Atlanta. The focus was on honor and the ethics of war. Westhusing wanted to understand arete—the ancient Greek word meaning virtue, skill, and excellence. His quest for understanding the concept was, he believed, a central part of his existence. “Born to be a warrior, I desire these answers not just for philosophical reasons, but for self-knowledge,” he wrote.

Westhusing did not find excellence or virtue in Iraq.


When he was in Iraq, Westhusing worked for one of the most famous generals in the U.S. military, David Petraeus. In January, Petraeus was appointed by President Bush to lead all U.S. forces in Iraq. As the head of counterterrorism and special operations under Petraeus, Westhusing oversaw the single most important task facing the U.S. military in Iraq then and now: training the Iraqi security forces.

Petraeus was impressed with Westhusing. By 2005, Petraeus had become a darling of the U.S. media thanks, in part, to his success in helping stabilize and rebuild northern Iraq. Petraeus liked what he saw in Westhusing and promoted him from lieutenant colonel to full colonel. In a March 2005 e-mail, Petraeus told Westhusing that he had “already exceeded the very lofty expectations that all had for you.”

It appears that shortly after writing the note, at about 1 p.m. Baghdad time, Westhusing took the 9 mm Beretta automatic pistol he’d been issued at Fort Benning five months earlier, placed it behind his left ear, and pulled the trigger.

After Westhusing’s death, there was a great deal of speculation.

Some family members and friends began wondering if he had been murdered.

Westhusing was supposed to leave for the U.S. on July 7. Yet he killed himself on June 5.

Why, they asked, couldn’t he stick it out for just one more month?

Much of the speculation focused on USIS and the contractors.

Did Westhusing have evidence that the contractors wanted to keep quiet?

There were conflicting stories from the contractors about how they discovered Westhusing’s body. One manager said that the first time he went to find Westhusing after lunch on June 5, the door to Westhusing’s room was locked.

But on a second visit, he said, he found the door unlocked. Further, one of the first people to find Westhusing in his room, a military contractor, moved Westhusing’s pistol from its original position, claiming he had done so for safety reasons.

That person was never checked for gunpowder residue.

Morsi was placed into power via a Mossad-rigged election for the sole purpose of "Carterising" Obama, and creating an adjacent Islamist Reigime to play host to another staged hostage crisis to steal an America (and Isreali) election all over again, with Murdoch and News International stoking the fires just as the New York Post dutifully had done thoughout 1980 and the archetype of the October Surprise.

Just as in the 1976-1981 period, the CIA were double-reporting and telling the White House one thing, whilst leaving an incriminating paper trail in documents later to be surface or subpoenaed.

"Innocence of Muslims" was uploaded in Cairo the day of the attack, just 4 hours before the staged protest outside the US Embassy in Cairo began.

The reason for the contradictory information wedge between the White House and State and the CIA was because the CIA was telling them one thing ("This was caused by an offensive video"), whilst telling the Romney/Ryan campaign something completely different (this was an organized assault and the Adminstration intends to fudge it for PR reasons).

When the kidnapping plot went South, Morsi's usefulness was rendered null and void - I'm amazed he has lasted as long as he had.

The intention probably was for President Petreaus to invade and overthrow him in short order, or else give the Isrealis the excuse to violate the Peace Treaty and seize back the Sinai.

When that didn't happen, he was left hanging in the breeze.

After multiple last chances, the Egyptian Army and its people have finally had enough and decided to ditch him.

Former Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff May Be Pentagon Leaker-in-Chief

NOTE: when considering this story, please bare in mind - there is considerable evidence that President Obama and Secretary Clinton have been conducting secret, clandestine bilateral diplomacy with senior members of the Iranian regime close to the Supreme Leader (Khameni) and having some measure of success.

The resumption of normal diplomatic relations would be the goal and the reopening of a US diplomatic presence in Tehran for the first time since 1979.

Such negotiations, even on the level of talking-about-talks would draw the ire of extremists and hardline elements in both nations and would need to be conducted with the utmost care to avoid their discovery either by those domestic political and military elements, as well as the Israelis, who would all attempt to sabotage such a new relationship and drown it at birth.

Khameni is old, but not to the point of senility and decrepitude - upon Kohmeni's death in 1989, the Ayatollah had written amongst his final wishes "only Kahmeni could take my place" - Kahmeni openly wept in the Iranian assembly hall as the head count of representatives ratifying his unsought nomination to ultimate executive power was read out by the delegates answering "Aye" one by one.

Collaboration happened with Israel’s SIGINT intelligence service, Unit 8200. Israel’s involvement was important to the Americans because the former had “deep intelligence about operations at Natanz that would be vital to making the cyber attack a success.”

Additionally, American officials wanted to “dissuade the Israelis from carrying out their own preemptive strike against Iranian nuclear facilities.”

To prevent a conventional strike, Israel had to be deeply involved in Operation Olympic Games. The computer virus created by the two countries became known as “the bug,” and Stuxnet by the IT community once it became public. The malicious software successfully, but temporarily, halted approximately 1000 of the 5000 centrifuges from spinning at Natanz.

A programming error in "the bug" caused it to spread to computers outside of Natanz. When an engineer “left Natanz and connected [his] computer to the Internet, the American- and Israeli-made bug failed to recognize that its environment had changed.” "

Okay, that's like going breaking down the door in a dynamic entry police raid with armed occupants and leaving your safety on.

No one would do that unintentionally - the whole idea is nonsense, for a bespoke custom virus, intended to be native within one, specific system architecture.

 That cannot happen.

"The code replicated on the Internet and was subsequently exposed for public dissemination. IT security firms Symantec and Kaspersky Lab have since examined Stuxnet. 

It is unclear whether the Americans or Israelis introduced the programming error."

General James Cartwright., USMC (Ret.) Under Investigation for Iranain Cyberwar Policy National Security Leak

Take this story on face value, first:

If these charges are true, as they appear to be, Cartwright ordered the clandestine execution of the first known Cyber Attack on the infrastructure of a soverign nation with whom the United States is not at war, committing large scale sabotage and property damage in the process in a secret axis alliance with a third country (the State of Israel).

This was technically an act of war, initiated by an unelected, political appointee to Vice Chairmanship of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under the Bush Administration, authorised by President Bush and executed during the Obama Administration, with no indication of consultation with or informing of the Congress to seek their approval or oversight.

And then he leaks the information about his own Secret War to the press when he leaves the Pentagon, revealing America's hidden hand in the process - presumably knowing full well the US Government would shoulder the blame, the same government that both he and the President who appointed him were now no longer a part of.

Again: if this is true, this is an act of seditious treason.

"Edward Snowden" is currently under indictment for:

1.) Theft of Government Property

2.) Unauthorised Communication of National Defense Information

3.) Willful Communication of Classified Communication Intelligence Information to an Unauthorized Person.

This is all of that, and way worse; 

and "Snowden" was never bound (as we are told) by the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

The first of these arrived in March of this year under the title of Olympus Has Fallen, directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Gerard Butler, Ashley Judd, and Morgan Freeman.

Here a large force of North Korean rogue terrorists strafe and storm the White House and take the president prisoner in the situation room, demanding that the US get out of Korea.

The tone is paranoid/serious, with no element of satire or irony.

The accent is on a certain kind of naturalism, including by having the real-life MSNBC commentator Lawrence O’Donnell report the events in a newscast.

Many images portray the blowing up of the entire West Wing of the premises.

Predictive Programming - White House Down

Due in theaters in late June is a second movie with virtually the identical theme, this time called White House Down, from Sony Pictures and Columbia. The director is the German Roland Emmerich, known for Independence Day, Godzilla, and The Patriot. The stars are Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx.

This time, the White House is attacked by a domestic paramilitary group led by Emil Stenz, according to the script by James Vanderbilt of the well-known oligarchical clan.

The attackers also blow up the dome of the US Capitol as a diversion.

So far as is known, Obama has not commented on either of these two motion pictures.

The Kokesh march on Washington: Rifle-toting reactionaries

Are there correlated developments in the real world?
There certainly are:

Over a period of several weeks, the disgruntled Iraq war veteran Adam Kokesh was recently calling for a July 4 anti-Obama march of 10,000 black-clad white reactionaries to violate federal and District of Columbia law by crossing the Potomac from Virginia into the District and thence around the National Mall, passing by most of the executive departments, the Congress, and the White House - all the while armed with loaded rifles.

Until about a year ago, Kokesh was a leading supporter of the Republican austerity fanatic and antigovernment demagogue Ron Paul, but he then broke with Paul and set out on his own course of provocation and adventurism.

In the unlikely event that Kokesh’s march had succeeded, he would have had the equivalent of one rifle division in position to intimidate the Congress and the White House in turn - a clear step towards anarchy.

After being arrested at a pro-marijuana rally in Philadelphia and spending a few days in jail, Kokesh has changed his strategy, and is now calling for marches on July 4 in the 50 state capitals to demand immediate secession and breakup of the federal union.

Loaded rifles would still be de rigeur.

The question of secessionism was answered with thundering finality in the American Civil War of a century and a half ago, an episode which caused this nation more than 700,000 dead.

Since the Confederate surrender at Appomattox in April 1865, anyone attempting to be open this question must be regarded as a dangerous madman.

For our purposes here, it is enough to recall that the Kokesh march is too close for comfort to the two scenario films we have just discussed.

Such then is the immediate background for the Bilderberg 2013 deliberations this weekend."

I have to ask the question. Both of the following questions are equally valid:

Why didn't the Secret Service in Dallas weld all the manhole covers shut?

How did a known troublemaker penetrate Presidential protection cover at the National Defense University and how was she allowed to create a distraction (like, perhaps, the epileptic or the Umbrella Man in Dealey) and continue speaking over the President for over a minute?

Security is being tested, and breached.

Things are not being done which should be done as a matter of course without thinking.
