Syria: Agenda-Setting Masterclass for the Completely Boxed-in

How to win and save face by making it look as though you totally screwed up.

If there is to be the "inevitable" military action over Syria that the Military-Industrial-Media-Entertainment Complex so adamantly insists there must be: let the responsibility for that decision lie with those people already perceived by the American people to be irresponsible, untrustworthy, partisan, ambitious, and thirsty for the limelight.

Am I crazy, or is this not a job for the U. S. House of Representatives?

Obama's approval rating stands at 42%

Congress' stands at 18%.

This is a no-brainier.

Call their bluff.

It already gave David Cameron the opportunity to back away from a badly botched and impossible to sell provocation - the only reason he recalled Parliament and called that vote was to lose it, rather than back down and appear to show weakness.

What he is asking to vote for, he is not going to get.

Plus, the longer you delay, the more room the UN Inspection team have to complete their findings in the ground.
